Fidelity European: Qualitative Rating Updated
We continue to believe Fidelity European remains an outstanding fund for investors seeking European equity exposure.

"Without question, the main attractions here are manager Tim McCarron and the deep research team backing him. A Fidelity veteran, McCarron had already been at the firm for 10 years when he took over Fidelity European in 2003 from legendary manager Anthony Bolton. He had a tough act to follow but McCarron has more than proved his individual worth. He has kept up the fund's strong record and has led it to be one of the top performers in its Morningstar peer group; it returned 12.8% per year annualised compared with an 11% category norm from his start through 31 Oct. 2009, compensating investors for rocky times."
